Code of Conduct
We have a simple 10 point code of conduct which members are asked to abide by in their interactions with others in the group.
- Attend at least 50% of meetings, unless there are mitigating circumstances,
- Unless an emergency arises, give at least 48 hours notice of non attendance.
- Arrange to swap with another member if unable to deliver a “set piece" (ed slot or 10 mins) or if chairing the meeting.
- Listen attentively when another member is speaking and do not interrupt.
- Endeavour to stick to the allocated for speaking and look for a cue from the chair to wrap up when signalled.
- Not to use the group or meetings to represent, or sell the services of a company, organisation, networking group or event which is in direct competition with another fully paid member, or the group itself.
- Engage with other members where appropriate to give and receive mutual support, arrange 121s, and be able to recommend their services.
- Follow up on leads given, quote a fair price and deliver a good quality service in an agreed time frame.
- Pay promptly or arrange mutually agreeable terms.
- To be good ambassadors for the group, and conduct themselves in a way that is respectful of the other members and their exclusive category.
