Code of Conduct

We have a simple 10 point code of conduct which members are asked to abide by in their interactions with others in the group.

  1. Attend at least 50% of meetings, unless there are mitigating circumstances,
  2. Unless an emergency arises, give at least 48 hours notice of non attendance.
  3. Arrange to swap with another member if unable to deliver a “set piece" (ed slot or 10 mins) or if chairing the meeting.
  4. Listen attentively when another member is speaking and do not interrupt.
  5. Endeavour to stick to the allocated for speaking and look for a cue from the chair to wrap up when signalled.
  6. Not to use the group or meetings to represent, or sell the services of a company, organisation, networking group or event which is in direct competition with another fully paid member, or the group itself.
  7. Engage with other members where appropriate to give and receive mutual support, arrange 121s, and be able to recommend their services.
  8. Follow up on leads given, quote a fair price and deliver a good quality service in an agreed time frame.
  9. Pay promptly or arrange mutually agreeable terms.
  10. To be good ambassadors for the group, and conduct themselves in a way that is respectful of the other members and their exclusive category.
